What is the Multiverse?

What is the Multiverse? And why do so many cosmologists have confidence in its reality? How many different kinds of ‘Multiverse’ are there? In this video, I explore the earliest notions of the Multiverse, how it is motivated by modern cosmological theories like Inflation, and how cosmologists might be able to bolster confidence in the reality of the Multiverse.
