Dear Impossible Family,

First, I want to welcome another 500 new subscribers to this bi-monthly M.A.G.I.C. Monday e-Mail list — I hope you’ll enjoy this ride through the Multiverse with your new family. (If you won one of the 100 meteorite samples from my giveaway with Startalk or Arvin Ash I will be sending your genuine space dust and some fascinating facts on the samples to you soon.)

When/if you receive it, please take a picture and tag me on social media: on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook. If you weren’t among the lucky winners, stay tuned as I will be giving away more space schmutz, an NFT, and copies of all three of my books: Think Like a Nobel Prize Winner, Losing the Nobel Prize, and The Dialogue.

I mentioned in July that this quarter closed with a historic milestone: our first Simons Observatory face-to-face meeting in person in 3 years — which we hosted in San Diego!

Stay tuned for more wonderful guests including but not limited to Niall Ferguson, Bernardo Kastrup, Eric Mazur, Sabine Hossenfelder and more!

The world’s richest, and most controversial man, liked a tweet that mentioned me. The subject of the tweet involves the impact that Starlink satellites are having on astronomy and how to mitigate it. The company is taking good steps, but more needs to be done, especially when it comes to his impact on Cosmic Microwave Background experiments like the Simons Observatory. Hopefully I can get Elon on The INTO THE IMPOSSIBLE Podcast someday to discuss.

Have a magical week!
